Online Announcements April 2025

Earliest arrival is noon.

Check in begins at 6pm.

Lay on is at 10pm.

Lay off is Sunday at 2pm.

To help us get cleaned up after game is over in a timely manner, if you are staying either upstairs of the Inn or in the AG, your belongings must be fully packed up by noon Sunday. This doesn’t mean your things need to be removed from the space, but they should be packed and ready to go!

The inn floor is brand new. Please be exceptionally mindful of this and please take care not to be reckless and damage it. All the tables and benches have had felted feet put on so they don’t scratch the floor up either.

Parking at Logistics

At this time, the only people authorized to park in the area behind or next to logistics are with direct permission from the Director, or the Officers, Safety Lead, Weekend Event Runner, and Exalted Team. Anyone else cannot leave their cars parked in that area.

Please do not park in front of the door/garage door to the area under the barn, or you will be parked in.

Early Camp Cleanup

If you are leaving early (before lay off) and need cleanup assignments, please see the Logistics Marshals. They will be able to assign you tasks to complete. Please do not see them for early cleanup if you will still be on camp at lay-off on Sunday at 2pm, and instead come to lay-off to get your assignment.

Shift Changes

On Friday night, we will be trying a different setup for NPC shifts. One shift will run from 10pm-2am and the second shift will run from midnight to 4am.

However, the Friday period changes for the purposes of skills refreshing will NOT be changing with the NPC shifts. It will still be 10 - 2 and 2- 6am.

Community Announcements

New Player training will be held at 7:30 pm on Friday under the white tent, weather permitting. Otherwise it will be in the Inn. This is mandatory for first event players to attend. It should only take roughly 20 minutes or so to go over important safety aspects of our game. You are welcome to stay longer to go over other mechanics about our game should you wish.

New player tour will be held at 11am Saturday morning. It is a mod made just for you to learn about areas around the camp.

Bar Announcements

Please do not go behind the bar unless you are a bartender on shift. Also, please do not serve yourself with anything from the bar when a bartender is not present. Much of what is provided back there is purchased by the different bartenders and is not for general use. The only “free” drink provided by the bars is water, which is always accessible in the inn through the sink as well.

Please do not leave your belongings behind the bar. Bartenders are not responsible for your personal belongings.

Bartenders will no longer be facilitating bank transfers going forward, please seek out a member of the logistics team

Safety Announcements

Be mindful that there is a slight chance of rain for Saturday. Also Saturday night is expected to be in the lows 40's so pack accordingly. Remember you can still get hypothermia at these temps especially if your're damp or sweaty.

Ticks are becoming active again on camp so be sure to use bug spray and check yourself regularly. Animals particularly bears are active again so be mindful of such, be sure to inform someone if you're going deep into the woods alone.

If you ever come across someone who you think is not supposed to be on camp during gameplay, do not approach them. Please note their appearance, location, and direction and contact game staff as soon as possible.

As always, the Safety Team on call list will be posted in Logistics and will be threaded on the Marshal Discord

Card Announcements

Make sure to always check your card notes!

New player card creation will be at the bar in the Inn before lay on, starting around 6pm.

Logistics Announcements

Please remember that while you are in line waiting for check in, please be respectful of the marshals on duty and remain quiet while near the desk. Too much noise makes it difficult for the check in process when the Marshals cannot hear the players they are speaking to. Once you receive your character cards, please acquire your rp points and any fates you wish to buy and make your way out of logistics as to not crowd the area.

While I understand everyone is very excited to get lined up to get their shifts, it has become more common for people to crowd into the actual logistics office. We ask that if you are lining up early that you please do so outside of logistics and do not crowd the room itself. We are having ongoing issues with it becoming too loud and rowdy in there while check in is happening and we are going to be working on trying to remedy that while also still maintaining a speedy/efficient check in process.

Thank you for your understanding.

Lore Announcement

Exalted Team would like to put out a reminder of our CvC policy that can be found here:

It includes many things, like our stance on avoiding CvC as well as the proper way to seek assistance in case of an out of game dispute! It is important that you read this especially if you're a character who may end up in Character vs Character situations! While you're reviewing that we also ask that you review the Meta-Game policy which can be found on the main Knight Realms policy page here:

As always we suggest that if something is meant to be a secret, you keep it as such to avoid potentially complicated situations! Thank you so much!

Atmosphere Announcement

Reminders from the Atmosphere Team this month!

Please stay in character. If for some reason you need to go out of game, please do so away from other players as to not impact their immersion and gameplay. Please do not interrupt a scene for an OOG comment unless it is absolutely necessary.

Roleplay your combat and sell your blows. It makes combat more fun for everyone

Please do not openly use your phone. We get that there are times when you may need to check the time or check a rule, but please try to do these checks with your phone under a table or away from other players.

Please be mindful of your trash and OOG food containers. If they are left out, they will be thrown out/moved to the kitchen.

This event at 9pm in the inn, there will be a workshop sharing tips and tricks for Staying Informed in Plots and Sharing that Info with Others. Look for Styxx (plays Tuulikki).
