Witch Hunter's Health Update March 1223

Time is passing and little progress has been made so I am here with another update on what little information I have. A handful of our Hunters have a time frame so to speak. A rough estimate on how fast the deterioration is taking hold and how long before they burn out and snap. We've been told that therapy can help, which is good if you have enough time to benefit from it. For those who don't we have a few possible avenues that might prolong your time, allow you to seek medical aid, etc. ~I was able to slow the deterioration in one of the hunters by about a month from performing a healing ritual through druidic means. ~Prolonged participation in Therapy seems to be of some benefit but results have not been gathered from that yet. ~If you are one of the severe cases you will need brain surgery. Treating this almost like a festering wound or an abscess, first we need to remove the dying and 'infected' tissue before it can start to heal. I am running low in energy and drive to continue this fight against something that frankly doesn't pertain to me or seem to really be effected much by what I can provide so if anyone else has any information please bring it forward. If you have ideas, please bring them forward. If you would like to help but are unsure how, please put yourself out there. There are quite a few who need aid and from what I've seen are not receiving it. If you are a Witch Hunter reading this, please monitor yourself or have someone monitor you. Seek medical aid. come talk to me or Bob or Raine if you feel like you're in danger from this. If you are a physician or druid that would like to help especially pertaining to what we've already proven effective please talk to one of us. If you wish to help develop new ideas please come speak with us. If anyone comes up with anymore ideas please bring them forward. ~Nesterin [Edit]: So after rereading my notes I am correcting some information on this post because I just, I guess didn't understand my own notes. Brain surgery isn't necessary. The soul still needs to be fixed though. I had reached out to a Healer to have the souls looked at but remembering now from my initial ritual that there was some issues with the soul. So I guess with this next round of procedures for the more severe cases I'm going to need probably a Healer or someone who can help mend souls, Psions perhaps cuz this is mental stuff, Physicians because I don't understand how brains work and maybe a druid to perform a restorative ritual like I did before.

Nesterin,

As I have posted here before, I have been working on doing what I can to aid anyone who is suffering from this affliction, the unaffected witch hunter you mentioned had called; The Dissent.

I am willing and able to perform healing rituals of many types (healing, divine, druidic and even physical such as surgery), as well as provide Therapy to any and all witch hunters suffering from the dissent. I would much rather we try therapy and other sources of healing before we resort to brain surgery, which is quite extreme and dangerous.

I can not however, make anyone seek my help. The implication that no one other than yourself is trying to help is incorrect. I've posted here before, and I'll re-iterate in this here posting as well that I want to help. Please come see me if you need help!

Unfortunately my duties often keep me extremely busy, so I am unable to just ask everyone I run across if they are a witch hunter, and are suffering, and offer help. But my door is always open.

Angel, I appreciate your offer for aid. Perhaps this coming feast I can show you the ritual I performed on Peaches to help slow the degradation. Its a druidic based one, obviously. You, I am sure, would likely be a very good candidate to learn it. Therapy is a good method of healing and management should the person have enough time to benefit from multiple sessions with a physician. Sadly, some of our hunters do not have the time to see a physician multiple times. If my estimates are correct several of our hunters have but about a month left before they do what Mercer did. That said, brain surgery will be the best next option unless someone comes forward with another idea. The way I see it, and I am fairly certain I am correct (Probably 98% sure, though I'm bad at math), but this condition when in extreme cases needs to be treated like a festering wound, A festering wound or an abscess will not heal on its own if you do not remove the infected and dying bits. So, for those whom have a month or maybe two at most, I believe it's the only current option. I am no physician obviously but I do understand that brain surgery is a very dire circumstance and should not be taken lightly. I do not recommend it lightly either but we're running out of time. At this time I am still looking for other options but I am very limited in my skillset in regards to this. So keep thinking of possible solutions. -Nesterin

I've been away for some time, I apologize I have not been able to get involved sooner. I am thankfully unaffected by this corruption and have kept channeling to a minimum. I am at your disposal. I can provide therapy and assist with research.
