Dame Angeliana and I are planning to propose a third, neutral “team” to the Council and Ser Danarest for the upcoming war game. This would be for any medical practitioners or others who either wish to focus on medical treatment rather than fighting or simply do not wish to fight against their friends so soon after what happened with Ozzan at the last feast.
This third team would fulfill the following purposes:
To heal any living participants of either side after a battle has completed.
To retrieve any dead participants during a battle in order to leave enough time for them to be reanimated.
To reanimate or resurrect any fallen participants of either side after a battle has completed.
To operate a centralized, neutral field hospital where any participants can come and receive aid. This field hospital may move locations depending on circumstances (e.g. to make it more accessible to a battle whose location we know in advance).
To create consumables (scrolls, potions, and the like) in order to allow those members without expertise in the medical arts to assist medics as they work.
In order to facilitate the ability to work unhindered, we are proposing that this team would have the following protections and restrictions:
Anyone who wishes to join the medic team must register for it, just as they would for Ser Danarest’s side or Travance’s side.
Anyone on the medic team must wear a specific belt flag (which will be provided to them).
Anyone wearing this belt flag may not cause harm to anyone participating in the war game on either side unless in self defense.
Anyone wearing this belt flag may not be harmed, taken hostage, or otherwise interfered with by any participant in the game.
No combat whatsoever may take place in the field hospital, regardless of any combat or conflict that may be happening outside of it.
We also plan to ask for the right to sell consumables to both sides at a fair price, and to negotiate consequences for those who willfully harm a medic.
If this is a team you wish to join, whether as a medic or an assistant, please post your name below so that I may plan ahead. If you have any questions about our plans or suggestions, please let me know on this posting or by sending me a missive.
