It seems some of the paint is at it again. In the commotion of dealing with a Doppelganger, an entire hall of paintings, intended for charity auction, was de-painted on Saturday night.
Just so this is not neglected. I apologize this is short, I will try a more formal report when I have more time:Caelvan and Ravani decided to jump in a portal after a very crafty gnome that is the one who has created this new strain of paint.
Last I heard they were in 'paint jail' and there is a good chance that, if you see them in any recent time, it may not actually be them. Please proceed with caution.
The paint really dislikes cold and paint thinner is working great so far but we may need to refine something to work on the magical aspect as well as the physical at the same time.
I currently have a patient that is recovering after being experimented on by said gnome. Maybe when he is more conscious, I can acquire more information for everyone.

Last time the paint was in town myself and a few others ran extensive testing on a sample of it (a paint frog) to determine it's weakness. After thorough (and somewhat brutal) testing we found that it had no weaknesses that we could cast, create via item, or effect it via materials, if this new paint threat is the same I am not sure. We then bound the paint frog in what was Supposed to be an unbreakable container, and it broke free within minutes.
Dame Tari and I have the notes and schematics for the ritual vessel (which was reinforced via weave strands and light-forging) that Was eventually able to capture and retain other samples of the living paint.
If Anyone would like to study those papers feel free to make your way to Sagewardens Keep above the town of Sagewood in the land of Albriar. I'm not sure if this new threat will be able to be captured and contained in the same way, but all are welcome to come study the papers in our library.
For now, if you should wander into an area where the color has been drained from the surroundings, or there are colorful tar spots around, Run. Also, I'd avoid summoning anything to fight the paint, no idea if it could just gloop over your summon and consume/control it.

Honestly unsure. We encountered this version of the paint a couple times back in fall of 1219, but those were likely tests from whoever made this? It was put in bodies and then attacked. -KanasP.S: Ask Fadeith about Mr. Squeakers.
If this sample was sold to a Londwynian, that would fit with the incidents we heard of in Londwyn, as well as what happened at the Crownhurst gallery. It's looking more and more likely that the explosion there was related to this mysterious animated pigment.
The question becomes, what happened to the paint after it was sold. And how it traveled from Londwyn to Travance, in order to be here on our boards today.
Also, damn. I was hoping it would copy my words as well.
If you're here paint hope you don't mind answering a few questions. First, why are you here?Second, were you and/or your creator responsible for the art theft last Saturday in Londwyn? And lastly, Can you not?-Kanas
Oh man! I remember the magic paint! I sure hope Sir Hopsalot is doing okay. Wonder if he could help us out? Or at least knows something that can help.Do we know who this individual is that got their hands on the paint? We uncorrupted it once, hope we can uncorrupt it again. But knowing who has it and seeing if we can get any information on them might help us figure out exactly what they are up to.

PS. Hello there paint friends. What exactly are you wanting to consume? Is it just more paint?
"I am paint and I am smelly and dumb. I enjoy consuming works of art because I can never be one."((this post is not signed, but it is clearly written in the same handwriting as Ravani's posts above, and there is a little doodle of a swan at the bottom of the page))
I just wanted to try and collect my old notes before making a proper report. The paint was an arcane construct that was tainted by the demon lord we call the Jailer and harassed Travance several years ago with it.
We were able to uncorrupt that paint and it has thrived in several forms, including a large paint frog we call Sir Hopsalot that is sometimes many smaller frogs instead (that is a story I was not directly involved with overall.)
Someone decided to sell a vial of this paint to a Londwyn exchange for urns we needed in Travance to help with Galmachian business I cannot remember the exact details on.
As a result, this paint was found by an individual that apparently is recreating the paint for nefarious means/gain. I am unsure if it would be classified as an aberration at this moment, but it is at least a creature.

??? Well "You" I would like to not be consumed perhaps we can work on something else that is better to eat?? May your movement be free Melchior

No reason to provoke it.
The paint... might be fine. Could be the creator that is the issue.

Are you saying you want to consume us? I can promise we're not very tasty.
-Khala Stormbringer
Please clarify. That statement is very unclear.
- Amhrán
I don't think that was Ilana. Pretty sure that was the paint.
So, paint. Why are you here? Why are you doing this, is there a reason? Also do you have a name you want to be called?
- Amhrán
Oh for the love of the gods don't provoke it

Why'd you write it twice Ilana?? May you entwine with the elements, Melchior

Also don't lick the paint. Would not recommend, 0/10. It will kill you and then puppet your dead body to fight your friends.
Bad experience, would not repeat. If you need me I'll be in my swamps.
Thank you for that concise summation, Lady Ilana.
Unfortunately, that still does not answer my question.
Is anyone able to elaborate on what Living Paint IS?
Is it a creature? An aberration? A...demon?
Please do elaborate.
Thank you,
That's the bitch! Thanks Dirge.
