[*OOG NOTE - This letter is covered in dirt and grime, there are several more scattered throughout the proper this just looks like the first one the Baronial Guard saw and brought forth for the town to see in one place.*] Subjects of The Count.
By know you all know that a large collection of treasure is coming your way. Treasure that is going towards the interests of the Count. However by my and mine's accounting there are only two interests that need solving.
Point 1 - The gold and all other items attached in this treasure are the rightful property of the peasantry who inhabit these lands. This peasantry sure doesn't account for you heroes, so don't try to include yourself in this.
Point 2 - The lands you're in. Vacate 'em. Get out, go back to your Count on the other side of the rift and leave us in peace. We want to be left alone to do whatever we want without you interfering lot always trying to ruin a perfectly good thing.
I'll be waiting by the far road leading to that stack of rocks you all love so much at midnight to accept the treasure and you leaving.
The Bandit King
To the self proclaimed 'Bandit King'
In the unlikely event that you see this, what with you being either too cowardly or too much of a dramatic wanker to leave a public posting where it'll actually be seen (or both... it's probably both), there are a couple things you should know.
1. Yes you are correct that gold belongs to the common people, that is the entire bloody point of this shipment. To help fund the barony's projects and programs, the vast majority of which possessing the sole purpose of supporting and ensuring the safety of the people who live here. And to help you connect the dots since you seems you haven't quite thought this through, the people that rely on these programs the most are the common people. So just to make it abundantly clear, by stealing their funding you are actively harming the common folk.
2. No. We live here too, and to say that we don't deserve to live here because we don't originally hail from here is incredibly shortsighted and closed-minded. Also what is it that we're always interfering with and ruining "bandit king?" You and your ilk being bandits? Preying on the common people that you claim to care oh so much about?
