Has anyone been to the Valley of Light? Or the Chaos Wastes, for that matter. Or heard from Valos. Or been to the Pits and heard from Malyc or his arch devil?..
Could Syrith have been returned from the Spirit Realm..?

Peace is the reason why people like I fight. But peace without cause or reason is strange. There is no known start for this peace, or a moment that truly led to it. It just happened. I can't help but find that a little suspicious. But we should not discount that this is a moment of respite. This is the first reprieve we have truly had in a long time. Take a deep breath and enjoy it. But you are not wrong for feeling that something about this is off. -Kanas
Ever heard of the phrase don't look a gift horse in the mouth? Be grateful for the reprieve you've been given.

Addendum: that came off harsher than I meant it. I don't think the peace is going to last forever, it never does, so I suggest everyone try and enjoy it if they can. If you can't, then go do what you have to do to make it last as long as possible. Go to a place where there is no peace and try to establish it there.
Best of luck to you all
Mantel,
This is an interesting hypothesis.
I have felt no changes in the Divine, but that does not necessarily prove or disprove anything. I will certainly put this to prayer and meditation.
Valos is not one to intervene often as he places great trust in his clergy, but if the need is great and the cause of justice is served (especially for the benefit of the commonfolk) then the God-King might very well offer some aid and insight.
Squire Wreck,
You pose an excellent question.
Also, the tale of the demise of the god of peace and justice, Syrith, can be found in the Book of Valos. Mantel is an excellent scholar and could provide the tales and legends surrounding the ascendency of Valos, but if you need further information I am happy to engage in conversation.
No apology for ignorance is necessary. Once you ask the question, it is no longer ignorance but now a search for knowledge and truth.

Squire Vey'Requilius,
I happen to be recounting this tale over some tea in the Dragon's Claw. Look to the Scholar's Table! You're welcome to join us. If not, and regardless, I will post a summary here once this chat is finished.
Be well, fellow Alisandrian.

My apologies for my ignorance on the topics, how would these places and people correlate to the present lack of encroaching danger? I know not who Syrith is, but is it even possible for one being to hold that much sway? I fear that I may not share the same sentiments that peace is an issue, though I would question - if this is by some unnatural force - are other countries observing the same experience?
I, again, apologize for my ignorance,
Sq. Wrekk Vey'Requilius
It's too peaceful. I hate this much time to think. Well at least there is personal turmoil to keep me busy. I feel like we would know if it was a God though. -Narcis
