Greetings all!
Before I go into detail, I understand it has been quite some time that myself and my squire have been in Travance proper. But it does not mean I am not updated on your affairs and current events! Lord Magnus had relayed to me what details who could tell me about this abomination dubbed the "Corpse Harvester."
Myself and my squire, Elysia Goodall, aided greatly by Morgan, Raine, and Dr. James aimed to observe and fight back the abomination we’ve come to know as the Corpse Harvester. I had come up with the idea to use soulless soldiers against the creature and sought out the great help and assisstance from those brilliant individuals. Each of the crafters created their own constructs to face the Corpse Harvester and, though, we perhaps we did not best the abomination, but it bought us valuable time as we were able to evacuate villages nearby Travance. But it is making its way towards Travence, just trying to stress that it is very much on its way towards us. Though there seems to not be much known about the Corpse Harvester what all us were able to gather from out little spat with the creature is this..
- It is able to relocate itself from what appears by jumping through the Spirit realm and out onto the material plane. It does this by turning itself inside out! Yes yes with all that squelching goodness, gross. It shrieks in pain while doing this.
- The Corpse Harvester's arm cuts both in the Spirit realm AND the upon the Material plane. This can be witnessed by all, even you are not able to see spirits on into the Spirit realm.
- Forgot to add this little note! While in the Spirit realm this Corpse Harvester moves INCREDIBILY fast, but once back out onto the Material plane, its speed slows back down.
- Watch out for it grotesque, vile, disgusting arm! If it touches you, that arm is responsible for sucking your soul from your vessel. And if you find yourself in that situation, you're done like dinner my friend. You will die. It's other arm is equally gross but more bulbous!
- The Corpse Harvester CAN be harmed and injured... But in a count of fifteen seconds I saw this awful creature regenerate itself and lash back at me! I also discovered that distractions work very well against this abomination!

You know back in the day I was good friends with a Jun. We had some right adventures we did. But despite his heroics I can’t imagine there’d be a noble wild enough to knight that mad lad so I’m guessing this must be a coincidence.
Now, this all sounds quite horrible. And the cult sounds like a real nasty group of villainous ghouls who need to be stopped. But the corpse harvester itself, given with what we seem to know of its origin sounds like a victim. While I want to prevent the corpse harvester from hurting anyone else I also want to ask some questions to be sure in that effort we don’t overlook what very well could be paths worth exploring to rescue a poor soul and remove a powerful asset the real villains are using to further their agenda.
Have we tried all avenous to communicate with it? Do we know if it being pupeteered by the cult directly? Can we cut the strings, as it were, perhaps through psyonics or necromancy? Do the cultists follow along close behind or are they interacting from far away/in the spirit world? While the constructs bought you time could a cage be crafted of similar style that would give us a moment to restrain the harvester to gather information? would it be possible to disrupt its ability to bounce back and forth from the spirit realm to weaken its speed advantage? Could a circle of healers or mages manage that?
My apologies if any of these questions reveal my ignorance of the situation. I am but a simple retired folk who has been on a beach a good long while now. But after reading your note Ser Jun and a few others these questions kept me up all night and maybe one or two of them might be worth discussing amongst the more knowledgable of Travance‘s heroes.
