Decree regarding the actions of Caelvan Renaith

To the Subjects of Travance,

Earlier this year, Caelvan Renaith had performed unsanctioned espionage within the Red Glove Syndicate. During his time among their ranks, he took actions that aided in his guise, but ultimately placed several subjects in danger. Because of his chosen secrecy, the kingdom cannot afford the same understanding as to those whose actions were sanctioned.

For his actions and the crimes committed while within the ranks of this criminal organization, the Great Council deliberated on what course of action to take. However, as Caelvan is also a March Warden of Selendrias, the kingdom sent word to the Selendrian Kingdom to hear of their own verdict regarding this situation.

The Kingdom of Selendrias and the Council of Travance have both come to an accord on the sentence to be passed.

Caelvan Renaith is to be executed one week from the public posting of this letter for his crimes.

Furthermore, the Kingdom of Selendrias has issued the following decree in accordance with his punishment:

Selendrias harbors no ill will for the Kingdom of Kormyre and condemns the choice made to not abide by Her laws for whatever reason the cause may be. As such, March Warden Caelvan Renaith is hereby stripped of his title and position.

Caelvan is charged with a geas to aid Kormyre and restore his name and reputation. He is tasked with committing himself wholly to service in the name of the Kingdom of Kormyre until such a time he is declared absolved by Her ruling body.

Such is the Throne’s decree.
