(OOG: This is a player driven post to help coordinate players for Lucien, since the navy has a bunch of boats, but we’ll have better odds of success if we have PC’s on the ship. Just respond to this post and say what you wanna do. PC’s can volunteer to be acting captains for this mission, or declare their intent to board, or other jobs. (Obviously you can’t captain a ship that has a captain already. Also non-naval ships belong to PC’s so if you want to sail on that you have to check with the player first.) I can add you to the below plan, and then if you are filling out the form, simply say you are helping the Navy. The form and the official info can be found at the following link:
Good day Travance!
Do you wanna help fight a portion of Dread Iron Fleet? Wanna throw yourself at hordes of undead, demons and other manner of evil creatures trying to steal the greatest magical secrets in the world? To liberate one of the fallen islands and save its people from joining the hordes of undead?
Is the only thing stopping you the fact that you don’t have a boat to do it on?
Well, you are in luck. Because here I am, Jackdaw, Admiral of the Kormyrian navy, who just sailed a bunch of ships to Sevenlore that are in need of Travacians to captain/crew them. Below is the current battle plan, simply declare where you’d like to help, and you’ll be added in. Even if you are reading this right now, and know that the battle happened several days ago!
(Please note, that agreeing to this means you will be instantly teleported to join the fight, you may also find yourself teleported back in time a week. Try not to think too much about it.)
Battle of the Citrine Isles
Strategy for the Kormyrian Navy, and allies

Six of the Seven islands that comprise the Islands of Sevenlore are under siege by the Dread Iron Fleet of Evernight under the command of Admiral Shadowdale.
One of the captured islands - The Citrine Isle is tied to the representatives of Sevenlore who have sought aid from Travance, and is also of particular interest to the Princes of Obsidia. They have secured a flotilla of the Dread Iron Fleet, and placed a poltergeist named Elliot Thorne in command. While several heroes of Travance are going ashore to free the island and secure it for Sevenlore, a naval action is required to capture or sink any ships in Throne’s flotilla to ensure the island remains free.

Friday - Saturday -
Battle Group Housesitter will maintain a defensive position at the primary port while Travancians ashore deal with any agents of Obsidia on land.
Battle Group Obsidian Bane will engage the Sea’s Razor in an attempt to draw them away from the main port, and potentially sink or capture them.
Battle Group Giant Slayer will engage the Cold Iron Fang, the Lost Hope, including boarding actions. If the Filthy Fortune appears, Giant Slayer will engage, and prevent it from regrouping with allied ships.
Battle Group Midnight will head east, Battle Group Dusk will head south, each searching for Dread Iron Ships to engage.
Battle Group Dawn will hold in reserve and move in as needed.
Saturday Evening -
Reports will be sent to all ships that an arcanum deck sun card was recovered from the Filthy Fortune. Day time engagements should have a significant advantage.
It is believed the Filthy Fortune will make land. Requests to Giant Slayer and Housesitter to blockade the ship in port, and prevent any Dread Iron ships from rendering aid while Commodore Elliot Thorne is dealt with.
Sunday -
A force on land including Jackdaw, Ser Kestrel, Damian, Balana (a grove spirit operating Caelvin) Kleiden, and others will seize the Filthy Fortune, and put to the sword any aboard.
Post Sunday to Present -
With no sun card, ships are encouraged to conduct attacks during the day, and defensive operations after sunset.
