An Introduction

Warmest greetings, Travance.

My name is Valentina Halfen, and I have come to your barony as a representative of House Narendier. We are one of the houses of the Witchhunter's Academy on the mainland.

All of us in the Academy have heard the stories of your legendary witchhunters, and indeed the Academy even displays statues in memoriam of some of them. Your barony does tend to attract the heroic types, doesn't it? I know that many of you are only distantly aware that other Houses of witchhunters beyond the Great Three exist, but as some of your people have begun responding to some of my House's job postings, my Masters have decided that now is an opportune time to send a representative to Travance. House Narendier is a scholastic-focused House. Our primary area of study is curses, though of course we do not discard other knowledge we come upon in our research. We are not adventuring sorts, but Travance, she is full of adventuring sorts, no? And a lot of exposure to a wide variety of metaphysical effects that we would like to study.

It is the hope of my House that we can begin to forge a mutually-beneficial arrangement. I look forward to working with all of you.
