Travance,
You have likely by now heard about an individual called the Employer who has been working on draining power from Triton, the dark primal spirit of the Sea. Rituals have been done to counter the Employer’s efforts, but I wish to take another approach as well.
Some context: The Nyads from my original territory in the (non-demonic) abyssal depths of the ocean were devoted to Triton, myself included. I think our practices differed somewhat from those of the Kingdom Below. At least judging from a previous vision of them, they seem more formal, though I could be wrong. Anyway. A role I had growing up was tending the altars to the leviathan.
As many of you know and have felt, Triton‘s power is still infusing our lake and lands. I intend to set up 3 altars to Triton in the Proper this week to do what I can to bolster the dead god of the sea. I returned to my old territory to gather things for them and on Tuesday, I will place one down at the beach, one more central to town in the barn, and will set up my personal altar in Kaladonia (either in the front of my tent or a common area Tent if available).
I invite any and all of you that would like to leave an offering to Triton to do so at those altars. It can be anything you want, but remember, much like sinking ships, once an offering is made, it belongs to the Sea. I’ll be tending to them through both the week and weekend, and anyone is welcome to join me.
~ Ser Blue Kestrel Laurent-Belmont, the Tempest of Kaladonia
((OOG: Please do not leave real food as we don’t want to attract wildlife. Any gold or components etc. that are left will be returned to the bank at the end of the event. All parts of the altars are my personal property and not plot items or gathering components so please don’t remove them, thanks!))
