I know Jarden is an outlaw now, and legally anyone can do whatever they want to him. But please remember that he's a person - not just that, he's a person who has been given a second chance. He's getting treatment from the most patient person I know. He's also a person who has people who care about him, and anyone who exacts unsolicited violence upon him will undoubtedly piss off those people.
What I'm trying to say is this: you mess with Jarden, you mess with me.
Mina
Don't mess with him.

A Point of Clarity, The moment the outlaw uses his psionics against another Kormyrian subject will be the moment I take his head from his shoulders. Perhaps through a cadaver study I may be able to isolate a physiological explanation for his deviance. Other subjects will likely be less patient, or perhaps just looking for a diversion, or a new pair of boots. It stands to the outlaw to ingratiate himself to the good subjects of Kormyre or start running. In Service to the Crown, Magistrate Robert Tzaareth
When the law punishes unjustly,
Will you be this fervent?
Or is your defense
Only because you claim him a friend?
What will you do
When he exchanges nothing for your compassion?
How ready are you
To throw yourselves onto swords
For nothing?
Nikola Malagan
It is my duty to remind folks that, while I understand your sentiment, if you harm another Travancian while attempting to defend an outlaw, you are actually committing assault against that person. Jarden is outlawed for a reason and is not protected by the law, however those attempting to harm him are still protected. Please keep this in mind. In addition, I would advise to be careful about how you go about speaking to people on this manner, as it could be perceived as a threat of harm to others, which is also against our laws.
Again, I do understand your sentiment and I admire your desire to protect your friend. However remember that Jarden chose this with his flagrant disregard of our laws and our justice system. Those who choose to act on the fact that he is an outlaw are well within their rights to do so.
Squire Keladry Aybara
