The Barony of Arkovnia info

Hello Jim,

My name is Alice Anderson and I play Angeliana who is a Dame of Winterdark and was born in that area. So I can give you some information that I know of. I'll also ping the lore team in case I miss something they can help you with.

Arkovnia is the name of the physical lands where Winterdark is. It's the westest side of Kormyre against the cold mountains which encircle lake Mirrormere. Winterdark is not a barony, it's led by Count Sebastien Everest (Director James's NPC) and his knights (which I am one of). Commonly the land is called Winterdark, as the most prominent location / structure on the lands of Arkovnia is The Black Keep of Winterdark. It is the castle you see on the map, the stronghold of Winterdark and it used to belong to Morgazzi (Dragon hunters) a long time ago so it has some deep history.

I came into game 12 years ago as a young woman from a small town a little north of Lake Mirrormere, which is the lake you see on the map. There are other small towns around the region as well, but I'm not sure we have a specific detailed map for those. If you'd like to have a character tie or be from the same town or perhaps a neighboring town to the one my PC is from (Yolen), I'd be more than happy to discuss and help you out more on Discord.
