The goal of each noble is to successfully administer her estate. How that is achieved depends on a variety of factors, many particular to each specific estate. There are, however, four principal goals that all nobles are expected to pursue:
The first two goals are the basic responsibilities of a noble in the Kingdom of Kormyre. The third and fourth goals are objectives that the King wishes to see fulfilled in Travance and are therefore important to pursue even if they conflict at times with satisfying the first two goals. In other words, each noble must balance the pursuit of these goals to her best ability.
